Prizes:
NOTY is aligned with CovingtonMoore, Publishing House. This association ensures that
manuscript winners do not merely receive the rights to promote our award, occurring costs
themselves, and receiving little of value. Our objective is to find quality works that need
assistance toward publication.
Award Recipients:
NOTY will select from one to three award recipients each publication year:
no more than two Finalists and one Winner. All recipients will receive the
following prizes:
Publication Prizes:
CovingtonMoore, Publishing House will publish your book!
NOTY has an agreement with CovingtonMoore, Inc. so that they may increase their
inventory with high-quality novels. Recipients of the NOTY will win a publication
agreement with CM including:
-Custom cover design
-Interior layout
-ISBN assignment and bar coding
-Conversion for Print On Demand (POD) setup
-Listing on Amazon.com
-Award entry: fees, mailing, and book production costs for submission
(to the awards we feel appropriate)
-CM Standard Marketing Initiative.
(We work with you in a limited publicity capacity)
-We query reviewers, produce books for review, and cover mailing
(As per CM's Standard Marketing Initiative)
-limited contractual agreement so that the author can pursue large publishing
houses even after publication of book. Though CM wants to stay productive, they
do not want to rob the author of large opportunities.
-No required book purchase
(we are not trying to generate superfluous sales with out authors. Our
intent is to produce a great novel for the public).
Conditions:
We need your permission. Though we want to assist great authors toward
publication, we respect copyright regardless of draft or document. So that we can
grant publication prizes, winners must agree to terms of the prizes.
Total Prize value: $6,000
Prizes are contingent upon contractual agreement with CovingtonMoore, Inc. (You
cannot collect prize money as compensation.)

The awards seal will be printed onto the cover. You will also be given permission to
claim the moniker: Novelist of the Year (Winner or Finalist):
